Yaysayer

Yaysayer is pretty much me, Elin Eriksson, but also the extended super powers provided by the stars in my network. Between us, we can lay the groundwork and sharpen corporate communications, PR, events and graphic design for large corporations as well as self-employed freelancers.

As for me, I’m a problem solver, constantly looking for ways to improve – both myself and the things I work with. I go seamlessly between being hands-on, getting down to the nitty-gritty, and keeping an eye on the horizon to know where we are heading. Constantly evolving is my state of mind. The business of communication is my heart and soul.

Recently switched from being Brand Manager at Bonnier Group to working as a freelancing Senior Communications Consultant, where I still work closely with Bonnier Group while also taking on assignments from other customers.

A project especially close to my heart is Women In Tech, where Bonnier has been a Founding Partner since 2014, and I have had the privilege to work in the core team. Since March 2019, I now function as the Director of Women in Tech Sweden. And in the same field, I have a seat at the Defold Foundation Board, proud to be part of the process as the Defold game engine has been released as open source, free to use, game engine for development of console, desktop, mobile and web games.

My experience from the Corporate Communications team at Bonnier AB includes working with the brand and as creative director for events such as Stora Journalistpriset, Bonnier Sales Awards and Bonnier Innovation Awards. It also included working with our communications strategies, press relations, social medias and internal communication, in close collaboration with the senior management teams.

One of my specialties is that I’m somewhat of a PowerPoint wizard. Yes, I actually think it outperforms Keynote (even though a designer is not supposed say that ; ) I take great pride in being the producer of slides like Andreas Ekström’s keynote Seven Ways to Own the World, for which he was named Male Speaker of The Year by Talarforum in February 2019.
